Toy Story
2
DOWN &
DIRTY:
Animated Comedy: After a toy
collector steals Woody to
complete his vintage collection,
the other toys set out to rescue
their friend.
NITTY GRITTY:
Woody (voice of TOM HANKS)
accidentally ends up in a yard
sale and is then stolen by a
greedy toy collector, Al
McWhiggin (voice of WAYNE
KNIGHT), Buzz Lightyear (voice of
TIM ALLEN) and his fellow toys,
Mr. Potato Head (voice of DON
RICKLES), Slinky Dog (voice of
JIM VARNEY), Rex the
Tyrannosaurus (voice of WALLACE
SHAWN) and Hamm the piggy bank
(voice of JOHN RATZENGERGER) set
out to rescue him.
Seems that McWhiggin, who runs
Al's Toy Barn, has been looking
for the rare Woody toy to
complete his highly valuable
collectible set. Once in Al's
apartment, Woody meets the other
toys from his show, cowgirl
Jessie (voice of JOAN CUSACK),
prospector Stinky Pete (voice of
KELSEY GRAMMAR), and his faithful
horse, Bullseye.
Woody discovers that he's to be
sent off with his "old
buddies" to a toy museum in
Japan, Woody wants to get back to
the safety of Andy's room, but
when he sees all of the
memorabilia from his old TV show
and learns that Jessie and Pete
desperately don't want to be put
back in storage, Woody finds
himself torn about what he should
do.
As Buzz and the other toys make
their way from Andy's room to
Al's Toy Barn and then to the
high rise apartment, they must
contend with various obstacles
including Buzz's archenemy Zurg
and 'another' Buzz Lightyear toy.
THE ENDING:
The toys follow Woody's trail to
the airport where Al is leaving
with them for Japan. Stinky
Pete tries to stop them from
escaping, but they put him in the
backpack of a little girl.
Woody, Bullseye and Jesse escape
the airplane with the help of
Buzz. They get back to Andy's
room before he gets home.
Meanwhile the neighbors try to
figure out why the airport
baggage carts are in their front
yard.
WHAT EVERYONE WILL BE
TALKING ABOUT:
The sequel is just as
funny as the first Toy Story
