DIRTY:
Horror: Twenty years to the day
after surviving the murder spree
of a homicidal maniac, a woman
must deal with the killer once
again.
NITTY GRITTY:
Twenty years ago Laurie Strode
(JAMIE LEE CURTIS) survived a
Halloween night murder spree at
the hands of her deranged
brother, Michael Myers. Even
today she continues to be
traumatized by visions of the
knife wielding, masked murderer.
Now living under the alias of
Keri Tate with her
seventeen-year-old son, John
(JOSH HARTNETT), Laurie/Keri
works as the headmistress of a
private school. At the school,
security guard Ronnie (LL COOL
J), keeps watch over the grounds
like a prison warden and Will
Brennan(ADAM ARKIN), is the
guidance counselor and
Laurie/Keri's secret love.
Even though Will tries to ease
her worries, she can't manage to
let her guard down. She's overly
protective of her son John and
won't let him go on a camping
trip with his girlfriend, Molly
(MICHELLE WILLIAMS), and friends,
Charlie (ADAM HANN-BYRD) and
Sarah (JODI LYN O'KEEFE).
THE ENDING:
John and his three friends decide
to stay at the now empty school
and have a Halloween night party.
Just one problem, Michael Myers
(CHRIS DURAND) is coming after
Laurie/Keri and leaves a trail of
bodies in his wake. First he gets
little man tate Charlie and then
Sarah. Will accidentally shoots
security guard Ronnie, who
miraculously survives. Michael
chases them around the school. He
finds Brennan and turns him into
Swiss cheese. Laurie/Keri fights
with her brother and he falls to
his death?
The cops show up and bag his
body, but Laurie/Keri steals the
van with the body and speeds
away. She sees that Michael is
still alive. She slams on the
brakes and throws Michael through
the windshield. The van then
crashes down a hill pinning the
killer between the van and a
tree. Of course he is STILL
alive, so Laurie/Keri picks up a
fire ax she brought along (always
prepared) and chops his head off.
Nuff said.
Look for the inevitable sequel,
Halloween H60. Laurie in her
motorized wheelchair is chased by
her deranged brother Michael in
his aluminum walker.
WHAT EVERYONE WILL BE
TALKING ABOUT:
The scene where Michael
carves up Will Brennan (ADAM
ARKIN), and Arkin just quivers
with his feet up in the
air....did I hear applause? EXTRA
TRIVIA: Norma, the
school secretary is played by
Janet Leigh, Jamie Lee's mom.
