marriage and family life that
includes their young son, Matty. In the
middle of a romantic sailboat

herself and the boat covered in
blood and Nick missing. Libby is
discovered holding a bloody knife
and is the beneficiary of a two

Nick's murder and she is sent to
prison. Libby arranges
for her best friend, Angie
(ANNABETH GISH), to adopt Matty.
While in prison, Libby discovers
that Nick is still alive and has
Matty and is living with Angie. A
fellow inmate tells Libby that
since she has already been
convicted of murdering Nick, upon
her release she can find and kill
him, and not worry about being
charged with the same crime
twice.
Libby is paroled and has to
report to her parole officer,
Travis Lehman (TOMMY LEE JONES).
Libby breaks her parole and heads
across the country in search of
Nick with Lehman right behind
her.

Through Nick's love of expensive
paintings, Libby tracks him to
New Orleans. There he has
set up a new identity as the
owner of a trendy hotel. Libby
confronts Nick and demands to
see Matty.

meets her at a cemetary and pays
a local kid to pretend to be
Matty. The boy lures her deep
into the cemetary where Nick
knocks her out and places her in
a mausoleum.
Libby
escapes and goes back to Nick's
hotel. Lehman grabs her as she
enters and they both confront
Nick. Nick pulls a gun and tries
to shoot Libby. Lehman jumps in
